We've always had a good experience at this restaurant. We order carryout from here about once every two or three weeks over the last six months and only one time was our order wrong...who knows, maybe there was a miscommunication over the phone. I get standard chicken pad Thai, it's always good and the portion is large. The container literally weights probably 2-3 lbs and I end up full with enough for lunch the next day. Probably the best locally.

I generally order the Pad Ped extra hot and it is delicious. The helping of rice, meat and veggies I get for $6 is more than fair. But more than anything it is the flavor of the sauce served- the cooks know what theyre doing and always deliver very on-point flavors. I highly recommend giving this place a chance.

Great food at a great price! We stopped going there a few years back because of changes that they made. Tried there a few months back and are glad we did, the quality is back what we loved before (and their crab Rangoon rocks!!!).

Omg it was so surprisingly good. Had order of spring roll, duck panang curry and Thai fried rice. Everything was yummy! Had it to go so we enjoy our meal at the nearby park. I think it was $1.50 per spring roll. Spring roll was HUGE!! Not what I was expecting but oh so yummy! I'll be back if I'm in the area again.

Great peanut curry. Finally a place in the Brighton area that can actually make spicy food.

Not much for ambiance, but I would say it is common amongst the strip mall Asian restaurants. I've only ordered a few items on their menu, everything was delicious. The prices are good. Excellent Pad Thai.

There is not much better than Peanut Curry. I don't get by very often, but on the off chance - maybe I can sneak in a takeout order (like YESTERDAY!). Whether in house or on the road, this dish just does it for me :). My friend, Nancy, insists on the Drunken Noodle (I think that's what it is!).... spring rolls are amazing. This is a little strip mall restaurant - and hard to get a table at lunch, but worth the visit - or the late night snack with leftovers.

Always happy here. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently good. I have yet to find a Thai restaurant that beats the food here.

My staple is the PadPak, veggies with brown sauce, comes with steamed rice and the lunch portion is enough for three more meals. Great value. With that said, I agree the ambiance is nothing I would consider but I will take quality food and mediocre decor than the reverse. If you eat in, and it's winter...plan on getting a blast of cold air everytime someone comes or goes. Also the place is PACKED at lunchtime which I think indicates the locals who work nearby enjoy it too. Service is friendly ..I'm a fan.

This was the first Thai restaurant I ever ate at. At the time, I thought it was pretty good. Having been to several more Thai restaurants these past few years, I look back on this place with disappointment. Prices are on the high side, food is overly Americanized, and it's just not somewhere I'd crave going back to. It's not bad...it's just not good. It's forgettable, is the best way I can describe it.

Happy to see this restaurant that was closed for a short time is in operation again.

Well, something's changed again. My fried rice was drowning in soy sauce, and the orange chicken smelled like barf. And, this isn't the first time either has happened in the past month. I'll write off getting ridiculously sick the following day as coincidence. You can decide for yourself.

My group of friends is OBSESSED with Sawasdee's peanut curry. No, really, they are obsessed. They plan weekend activities around it. If we order carry-out, they double their order to have leftovers for days. Yeah. While I'm not quite that into any of the menu offerings here, I do enjoy their pad thai. The noodles are nothing special, but the sauce is the perfect combination of sweet flavor, peanuts, and a hint of lime. The sprouts, egg and crushed peanuts also really add to the dish. It's not the best pad thai I've ever had, but certainly a tasty lunch or dinner (and if you order the dinner meal, prepare yourself for leftovers, holy portions!). Also, props for the cash discount: dinner patrons get 10% off the total bill if you don't pay by card.

Good service. Nice and clean interior. HUGE portions, even the lunch size. Great value for the price. Got the curry fried rice with tofu, hot, and was nearly blown away by the spice level. Literally brought me to tears. The boy got his chicken pad see-ew medium plus and was just about begging for mercy. We like it spicy, so we were both fine with it. Just be careful what you ask for if you don't like it to burn. They've got a pretty heavy hand when it comes to the spices.

Do NOT go here unless you want to be forced to pay for meat grizzle and a bunch of noodles for your "chicken pad Thai." I posted pictures of my "meal" that they refused to refund. Enjoy (or vomit like I almost did!)

My Gang Keaw Warn - chicken carryout dish I ordered was the worst Thai food I have ever tried to eat. It was like coconuts were washed, and the water was poured on some chicken and bell peppers. No curry, no heat, no lemon grass, or kaffir lime leaves, no peppers, spice, fish sauce or coconut. No ginger, and yes, no flavor. Weirdly, the Pad Thai is fine. The fried rice is fine. Very inconsistent each week with each dish having hugely different amounts of ingredients. Sometimes red yellow and green bell peppers, then just green next time ordered. Sometimes so much onion to be overwhelming, then almost none. So, for Gang Keaw Warn I drive to Novi Siam Spicy. For other dishes to here. I would love to see them step up their game.

Visited once for an early take out dinner and ordered my "barometer" meal, the pad Thai. I ordered shrimp with it. It came out a ghastly, unnatural yellow color. The taste was awful and unlike any good Thai food. The shrimp was over-cooked and instead of providing lime on the side (which is normal and traditional), I received lemon instead! Even a healthy dose of sriracha couldn't make the pad Thai more edible. It's truly unfortunate this place isn't more delicious. There is a dearth of independent, yummy restaurants in New Hudson. I will not be back.
